You are talking about two different products here, so let's be sure we explain.
These batteries are for the SureStrike lasers only, and they must remain wrapped in the blue plastic. You can use them for the optic laser that comes with the SureStrikeMAG However, the SureStrikeMAG itself is rechargeable and the magazine alone does not need batteries. Further, the SureStrike lasers that do work stand alone and the laser that comes with the SureStrikeMAG are not the same thus not interchangeable. Similarly, the prior DryFireMagazines you have will not work like the SureStrikeMAG. Hope that helps and feel free to reach out to support@laserammo.com should you have further questions.
