It should work with 6mm airsoft, so depends on what you have.
Yes, green gas mags are definitely easier to manage, just refill from the base plate and go... versus taking out a cartridge and replacing. OUR CO2 and GG mags are interchangeable.
The green gas cans are pretty affordable and can buy them easily online. We recommend having two mags, to swap between if you are shooting quite a bit.
If for some reason it doesn't work with your gun, be sure to keep the original packaging and you can return within 30 days.
