No, a real slide can not be used on the training pistol as it is an airsoft slide.
Can a slide from a real firearm be installed an function on your training product?
I understand that "your" slide has the option to mount a RDS. (I am referencing the SIG P320/M17/M18 models)
In order to train with a RDS on your product, I see 3 options:
1) buy a 2nd RDS (identical to the one on my real firearm) and install it on your slide
2) keep installing/uninstalling my RDS between my firearm's slide and your trainer's slide (and having to re-zero?)
3) temporarily swap slides
Buying a second RDS and installing it on your slide will work, but is obviously the most expensive option. Constant moving and mounting the RDS is the most cumbersome option. The cheapest and simplest is to simply swap slides and still have your product function. I 'd like to do that. Can I do that?
