Can the current version with the blue & red real conversion barrel operate the laser without gas?
Recoil Enabled Sig M17 Training Pistol (Green Gas)
May not have green gas or CO2 on hand all the time but would like to still practice. Can do I need gas to use the training device or will it be a paper weight after a few shots?

It will basically be a paper weight....
The REAL Barrel conversion is Piston Driven so it needs the Green Gas or C02 to activate it.
