SF 25 ATLP equipment rail is not compatible with the rail on my S&W M&P 2.0
SF25 PRO GEN2 ADVANCED TRAINING LASER PISTOL (A.T.L.P.)
I received my SF25 ATLP a couple of days ago and there are a whole lot of things that I like about it. It is about the same size and weight as my 9mm S&W M&P 2.0. The trigger weight and break feel similar. Since I also purchased the LaserPET II, I get a lot of feedback on my aim that I don't get when dry firing the M&P. I like the product a lot and I am not seeking to return it for a refund. That would be nuts as it already has been very helpful.
At the same time, the absence of a functioning equipment rail is a major downside of the product and I am hoping that you can help me navigate around this.
I have been dry firing in low light conditions by attaching a flashlight to the rail of my S&W M&P. I also dry fire (in lighted rooms) with the MantisX attached to the rail of this gun. Neither the MantisX nor the flashlight can be attached to the "rail" of your laser pistol. While it may be able to attach a rail adapter to the bottom of your magazine, this is iffy since the bottom of your magazine is rubber rather than hard plastic. Below the mag is never the ideal option for the Mantis. Attaching the flashlight to the bottom of the magazine does make any sense. Any workable suggestions would be very welcome.
As an aside, the grip would be better with increased stippling.
On the whole, an awesome product. I look forward to hearing from you about the rail.

Hi,
Glad to hear you like it for what it is.
The SF25 is molded to be a copy of the M&P, so yes, it should feel the same.
It does have a molded Rail on the underneath of the gun so you can attach a light, if needed. Not sure why yours wouldn't fit., maybe try and find another Picatinny mount to try?
If more grip is needed, you can add some Grip tape if you'd like.
I would not drill onto the Mag....
