I personally shoot competition and find the
Smokeless Range to be helpful (specifically the
Comp Shooter Pro (build stages free) and the
IPSC Challenge add-ons). The core 10 drills that comes with the simulator all have things you can change to allow you to work on various things (ie use the Speed Drill to work on transitions and shooting in various directions with more/less no shoots to be on the lookout for or the Can Toss to work on moving targets). With this option, of course there is a higher buy in so maybe build up to you. Because as you know... comp shooters spend plenty on their gear as it is, match fees, ammo, updated gear, etc.. so if you are in the long haul for it, this is a great option that can grow with you.
But, if you aren't ready for the above, the
SureStrikeMAG (gun specific) along with the
IMTTS 5pk Combo (more targets to set up around your house to run to and shoot, and the controller to make it easier to reset, track times, etc) is a great start and then maybe level up to the Smokeless Range after.
Hope that helps as well.
